California has such a special place in my heart. Every time I’ve visited, I just fall more in love with the beautiful climate, nature, and energy! There is something so magical about being so near the ocean. So when Kari asked if I was interested in flying down to take their family photos at Newport Beach, it was an instant yes!
The Hardy’s come to this beach every year on their annual California family vacation, and had their pictures taken here 5 years ago- it was so special to see how their family has changed, in the same spot!
After getting some “traditional” family photos, we realized the kids were too excited and wanted just to play, so we did! I kept snapping photos all along the way, and these candid playful moments are truly my favorite from the whole evening.
I’m so glad that the Hardy’s flew me down to document this beautiful, peaceful evening in Newport Beach with their sweet family. The weather was perfect, and it was so special to witness their fun family dynamic as they chased the birds and waves.
